What’s been happening:

My thirty-plus years of teaching mathematics at Behrend College were extremely satisfying. During that time I had the opportunity to co-author numerous college level mathematics textbooks, which was a great complement to my teaching career. In retirement, I continued to revise those textbooks for ten years. More recently my wife and I have been spending winter months in Florida. There I have been playing senior softball in the 70-75 age group. The summer of 2008 I played tournament softball all over the Eastern U.S., and our team qualified for the World Senior Softball Championship in Phoenix AZ. Our team placed 4th in our age category. I am grateful to God for good health, and for the many fond memories of my time with Penn State University.
